PYONGYANG, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Tuesday renewed its sharp attack on U.S. President Donald Trump for his State of the Union Address, describing it as "intolerable provocation".
Trump, in his State of the Union Address one week ago, said that DPRK is threatening the U.S. mainland by "reckless nuclear and missile pursuit."
Trump also attacked the DPRK over "degeneration" and "oppression" as well as "human rights", according to the official Rodong Sinmun newspaper.
"This is the intolerable politically-motivated provocation and tyrannical blackmail of the boss of gangsters and hysteric fit of a lunatic against the DPRK," Rodong Sinmun said in a commentary.
The DPRK has earlier condemned Trump's State of the Union Address as "omen of new disaster" for the world and "pure perversity to check progress of inter-Korean relations."
In his State of the Union Address last week, Trump described the DPRK as an enemy country with which no compromise and concession will be made by Washington over its nuclear and missile program.
