JAKARTA, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's weightlifting team will practice in South Korea in June to boost capability for competing in the 18th Asian Games in the country as the lifters eye a gold medal.
Coach of the team Supeni disclosed that the team will be in South Korea for 30 to 40 days before they compete in the Asian Games.
Supeni revealed that South Korea has better facility for practice and the situation is comfortable for the lifters.
"The condition is favorable for us," the coach said.
Supeni said that Vietnam, Thailand, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and India will be strong opponents for Indonesian lifters during the regional sport event.
"We keep alert and looking for information about our opponents in the upcoming Asian Games," the coach said.
Another coach M. Rusli said that Indonesia has opportunity to secure a gold medal in Asian Games.
