TOKYO, March 2 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar fell to the upper 105 yen zone Friday in Tokyo, after Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda said that the bank will possibly discuss leaving its aggressive monetary easing policy around fiscal 2019.
At 5:00 p.m., the dollar was quoted at 105.73-75 yen compared with 106.20-30 yen in New York and 106.80-81 yen in Tokyo at 5:00 p.m. Thursday. It moved between 105.71 yen and 106.29 yen during the day.
The euro fetched 1.2263-2264 dollars and 129.66-70 yen against 1.2261-2271 dollars and 130.23-33 yen in New York and 1.2200-2201 dollars and 130.30-34 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon.
