SYDNEY, April 17 (Xinhua) -- Five little penguins were released into the ocean in Australia on Tuesday after receiving treatment at Sydney's Taronga Wildlife Hospital.
Found injured in various locations across Sydney by members of the community, these penguins were sent to the facility for treatment.
"The penguins came to the hospital at different times, but all within the past two months," a spokesperson for the hospital told Xinhua.
With some of the penguins recovering from conditions including dehydration, a broken foot and even a fishing hook injury, the spokesperson said the animals were now all healed up and that the release was "very successful."
At the moment there are still several other penguins at the hospital, due to be returned to the water at a later date.
