ULAN BATOR, July 6 (Xinhua) -- A trade fair of China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region opened here on Friday, with the aim to expand trade cooperation between Mongolia and China.
Over 260 companies from Inner Mongolia's 12 prefectures are participating in the four-day trade fair with more than 1,000 products, including machinery equipment, organic food, construction materials, environmental protection products and textiles, according to Mongolia's National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mongolia and China have set a 10-billion-U.S.-dollar target for bilateral trade by 2020.
Inner Mongolia has played an important role in intensifying the trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The autonomous region accounts for nearly 50 percent of trade cooperation between Mongolia and China.
