KATHMANDU, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- Nepali Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, on Friday, said that his country admires China's neighborhood diplomacy guided by the principles of amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and inclusiveness.
The foreign minister made the remarks at an event organized by Nepal Council of World Affairs in Kathmandu while talking about the foreign policy priorities of the government.
Gyawali said that Nepal and China enjoy a long history of close and cordial relationship based on the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence while appreciating each other's aspirations and respecting each other's concerns.
"Nepal remains fully committed to one-China policy. We admire China's neighborhood diplomacy guided by the principles of amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and inclusiveness," he said.
Recalling the official visit paid by Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli to China in June, the foreign minister said that the visit was fruitful in further strengthening the friendly relations between the two countries.
