PARIS, Jan. 25 (Xinhua) -- A vehicle crashed into a school bus in Gers, southwest France on Thursday afternoon, injuring 27 people, local authorities said.
The accident occurred at 12:48 local time in Manciet commune, Gers. The 27 wounded people have all been hospitalized, Gers prefecture said.
French television channel BFMTV earlier reported that at least 31 people were injured in the collision.
The car driver did not respect the priority of transport, and crashed into the school bus carrying 45 students, it reported.
Last month, a train smashed into a school bus on a crossing level in southern France, killing at least 6 school children.
