BEIJING, March 4 (Xinhua) -- Mitsubishi Motors will recall 17,547 imported vehicles in China due to windshield wiper defects, according to China's top quality watchdog.
Mitsubishi Motors Sales (China) Co. Ltd. filed the recall with the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
The recall is for imported ASX SUV models produced between July 7, 2010 and March 20, 2012.
Windshield wipers on these vehicles may malfunction causing risks, according to the administration.
The company will replace the windshield wiper linkage assemblies of the affected vehicles.
The recall will begin on April 13.
