KABUL, March 9 (Xinhua) -- A blast rocked western edge of Kabul city close to a political gathering on Friday, with casualties feared, an eyewitness said.
"The blast occurred next to a political gathering on Darul Aman road at around 11:45 a.m. local time today, casualties are feared," the eyewitness told Xinhua but refused to be identified.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and police have yet to make comment on the report.
