BEIRUT, April 11 (Xinhua) -- A Syrian teenager has been arrested on suspicion of killing a 12-year-old boy and dumping his body in a building in northeastern Lebanon, the Lebanese Internal Security Forces (ISF) said in a statement Wednesday.
The body of the boy, identified as M.N., was found last Thursday in a house under construction in Hermel.
According to the ISF statement, the victim had been choked to death by an electric cable.
The suspect was identified as Syrian national M.F., who described himself as being "around 16."
M.F. allegedly admitted to killing M.N. following a "personal dispute," and moving the body to the building under construction after attempting to conceal it in a cloth bag.
He has been transferred to Baalbeck's Judicial Police for further investigations.
