RABAT, May 6 (Xinhua) -- Morocco's Raja Casablanca made a modest start to their Group A campaign on Sunday when they were held to a goalless home draw by Vita Club of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
At the Complex Mohammed V in Casablanca, the Moroccan team possessed the ball and created several goal opportunities, but they were unable to convert their dominance into goals.
Earlier on the day, hosts ASEC Mimosas of Cote d'Ivoire won Ghanaian Aduana Stars 1-0 to top the Group A standings with three points, Raja Casablanca and Vita Club have one each and Aduana Stars are pointless.
In their second game, Raja Casablanca will face Aduana Stars in Ghana, while ASEC Mimosas will play Vita Club in Congo.
