PARIS, May 8 (Xinhua) -- French President Emmnauel Macron said Tuesday night via twitter that France, Germany and Britain regret the U.S. decision to leave the Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA) signed in 2015.
"The nuclear non-proliferation regime is at stake," he said, noting that "We will work collectively on a broader framework, covering nuclear activity, the post-2025 period, ballistic activity, and stability in the Middle-East, notably Syria, Yemen, and Iraq."
American President Donald Trump announced Tuesday at the White House that the U.S. will withdraw from the landmark 2015 accord to curb Iran's nuclear program and that he would reinstate financial sanctions on the Islamic Republic, casting the Mideast into a new period of uncertainty. Enditem
