SHENZHEN, May 13 (Xinhua) -- Th scale, strength and profitability of China's leading cultural enterprises have increased, according to a media statement at a major trade fair held in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province.
"Their market competitiveness and profitability have continually strengthened and reflected the good growth momentum of cultural enterprises," said the statement on Thursday.
Guangming Daily and Economic Daily jointly released a list of the top 30 cultural enterprises of China at the event, the 14th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair, which last from May 10 to May 14.
The enterprises include China Publishing Group Corp., China International Television Corporation, Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town Co. and Anhui Xinhua Distribution Group Holding Co.
The top 30 enterprises announced this year have net assets at 456.9 billion yuan (71.7 billion U.S. dollars) and net profits of 42.1 billion yuan, a record high.
Starting in 2008, the Guangming Daily and Economic Daily have jointly released the list.
