BEIJING, June 14 (Xinhuanet) -- The 29th China Harbin International Economy and Trade Fair is to open on Friday in Harbin, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.
A total of 1,454 exhibitors from home and abroad will set up 2,473 exhibition stands.
Four hundred and eighty-nine enterprises are from 38 foreign countries and regions, accounting for one third of the total participating enterprises.
Especially, the 5-day fair will highlight cooperation between China and Russia by holding forums, meetings and activities covering areas such as sports, culture, tourism and trade.
Other cooperative events including the 2018 Harbin-South Korea SME Meeting and 2018 China Harbin Cross-Border E-Commerce Cooperation Meeting are also part of the international trade fair.
First held in 1990, the trade fair has become an important platform for regional cooperation in Northeast Asia.
