WARSAW, July 4 (Xinhua) -- Polish police have broken up a criminal group suspicious of drug trafficking, and seized transports of three tonnes of hashish and 500 kg of substances used for the production of amphetamine, an official said Wednesday.
Polish police officers prevented the drugs from reaching the market, Deputy Interior and Administration Minister Jaroslaw Zielinski said at a press conference in Warsaw.
The market value of the seized drugs is estimated at PLN 60 million (15.96 million U.S. dollars).
