LONDON, July 10 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose on Tuesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 0.05 percent, or 4.05 points, to close at 7,692.04 points.
Ocado group, an online grocery retailer, soared 9.05 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Coca-cola hbc and Ds smith increased by 2.88 percent and 2.85 percent, respectively.
United utilities group, a water company, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 4.04 percent. Severn Trent, also a water company, dropped 3.64 percent. Glencore, a multinational commodity trading and mining company, fell 2.48 percent. Enditem
