TEHRAN, July 14 (Xinhua) -- A senior commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) said Saturday that the forces will make the utmost effort to solve current domestic problems of the country, semi-official Mehr news agency reported.
Deputy Commander of IRGC Hossein Salami said that "IRGC will spare no efforts to solve problems grappling the country."
Problems are not confined to society in Iran, advanced and developed communities in the world are also grappling with economic problem, he said, adding that "under the wise leadership, the country can settle problems in cooperation and collaboration with people."
Despite the fact that enemies have recognized salient characteristics of Iran's power, they want to disappoint Iranian nation, he said referring to the U.S. threats to put economic pressures on the country.
"Dreams of enemies will not come true, because noble people of Iran have stood against enemies' plot vigilantly and cautiously," he added.
On Saturday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that the U.S. government's new hostilities toward the Islamic republic will fail.
The U.S. State Department announced that the United States had been pushing its allies to stop oil imports from Iran by Nov. 4.
U.S. President Donald Trump asked Saudi Arabia to increase its oil exports to compensate for the shortage in the market demand in case Iran's crude exports drop.
Inflation and depreciation of the value of Iranian currency are major issues that the Islamic republic faces following the U.S. sanction threats.
