RIYADH, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- Saudi Arabia announced on Tuesday the success of the current Hajj season plan, Saudi Press Agency reported.
The security spokesperson Mansoor Al Turki said that the positive results were announced because of good organization and cooperation of pilgrims in following instructions.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Hatim Qadhi, highlighted that the ministry would focus in the coming days on implementing a new approach for the departure of pilgrims.
He said that booklets were published and distributed among representatives of pilgrims from all countries to know the dates of their departure and instructions for leaving the country on time.
The Statistic Authority announced the number of pilgrims reached 2,371,675, of which 1,758,722 from outside Saudi Arabia.
