MADRID, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) -- Brazilian star Neymar said on Monday that he would not be joining Real Madrid at least for the moment.
The forward, who joined Paris Saint Germain from FC Barcelona a year ago, was back in Barcelona for a publicity event along with golfer Sergio Garcia and former team-mate Gerard Pique.
Real Madrid are thought to have Neymar as their main transfer target for this summer. With the transfer window due to close in Spain on Friday night, Madrid still have to sign a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Neymar was also asked about the possibility of signing for Barca's eternal rival, but appeared to rule the move out saying, "I have a contract with PSG and that is where I will be."
The Brazilian also said that "it would be very hard if we had to play Barca in the Champions League, the people I know there are very good friends and also very good players." Enditem
