LONDON, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Friday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.47 percent, or 35.24 points, to close at 7,510.20 points.
Randgold Resources, a gold mining business, soared 3.61 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Micro Focus International and Next increased by 3.10 percent and 3.04 percent, respectively.
RSA Insurance Group, a multinational general insurance company, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 9.31 percent.
