THE HAGUE, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- Pablo Rosario, Denzel Dumfries, Steven Bergwijn and Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld received their first call-up for the Netherlands on Friday for the forthcoming matches against Germany and Belgium.
The 22-year-old defender Dumfries, the 21-year-old midfielder Rosario and the 21-year-old forward Bergwijn are all playing for reigning Dutch league champions PSV, while the 21-year-old forward Danjuma Groeneveld played for PSV in the youth.
Groeneveld made a transfer to Belgian side Club Bruges from NEC Nijmegen last summer. He scored a cracking long distance goal for Bruges against Atletico (3-1 loss) in the Champions League on Wednesday, while PSV's Rosario also found the net in the Champions League on Wednesday, for PSV against Internazionale (2-1 loss).
The Netherlands will play Germany in the Nations League on October 13 in Amsterdam, while the Dutch team will face Belgium for a friendly in Brussels on October 16. 'Oranje' started the Nations League with a 2-1 defeat at France in September.
