BEIJING, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- Yi Gang, governor of the People's Bank of China, said Friday that China's current stock market valuation has been at a relatively low level in history and in contrast to the country's stable and positive economic fundamental.
Yi made the remarks when being interviewed by reporters on the recent volatility of China's stock market, noting the central bank will maintain liquidity at a reasonable, stable level to promote heathy and stable development of the market and foster a sound economic and financial environment.
