HANGZHOU, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- The Second International Petroleum and Natural Gas Enterprises Conference opened Thursday in Zhoushan, east China's Zhejiang Province, aiming to accelerate oil and gas industry in the Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone.
At the conference, 25 oil and gas projects totaling 165.6 billion yuan (23.89 billion U.S. dollars) have been signed, including four oil storage programs, seven oil trade programs, a low-sulfur oil cooperation project, and three LNG projects.
Gas and oil giants and traders from home and abroad have joined the conference along with chemical companies and energy institutes. According to the organizer, projects involving foreign investment account for 56 percent of the total.
The Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone in Zhoushan has been seeking cooperation with global oil and gas enterprises since its establishment in April 2017.
