MONTEVIDEO, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- Barcelona striker Luis Suarez and Atletico Madrid defender Jose Maria Gimenez have returned to Uruguay's squad for international friendlies against Brazil and France.
Both players missed the Celeste's friendly defeats to South Korea and Japan earlier this month: Suarez for family reasons and Gimenez because of a muscle strain.
Uruguay coach Oscar Tabarez also named 20-year-old midfielder Federico Valverde following his debut for Real Madrid in their 2-1 Champions League victory over Viktoria Plzen on Tuesday.
The 25-man squad also includes Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, Atletico Madrid center-back Diego Godin and Juventus midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur.
Uruguay will meet Brazil at Emirates Stadium in London on November 16 and France at Stade de France in Paris four days later.
