WUHAN, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- A Boeing B787-8 airliner, operated by China Southern Airlines, landed at Wuhan Tianhe Airport on Saturday. It was one of the two wide-body aircraft employed to support the 7th Military World Games.
"To contribute our share to the Military Games in Wuhan, China Southern Airlines will improve punctuality of flights and provide better service for passengers," said Qu Guangji, manager of the Hubei branch of the Southern Airlines.
So far, Wuhan Airport has 132 domestic and international regular air traffic points, 60 operating airlines, including 29 overseas airlines.
The 7th Military World Games, a multi-sports event organized every four years since 1995, will be held in Wuhan from Oct. 18 to 27, 2019.
