SANYA, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- A Russian airliner arrived at its destination -- the southern Chinese resort city of Sanya -- early Monday morning after an emergency landing in Krasnoyarsk City, Russia.
The Boeing 737 aircraft carrying 166 passengers and seven crew members, operated by JSC Taimyr Airline, landed in the central Russian city after the pilots spotted a crack in the windshield shortly after it took off from Novosibirsk on Sunday.
No passengers were injured in the emergency landing. They continued their journey on another plane.
The plane safely landed at the Sanya airport at 1:46 a.m., where representatives sent by the city government welcomed the Russian passengers.
