TORONTO, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Canadian main stock market continued up for second straight day Tuesday due to increasing health-care stocks.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's benchmark Standard & Poor's/TSX Composite Index rose 75.01 points, or 49 percent, to close the day at 15,292.71 points.
The Canadian dollar traded at an average of 0.7616 U.S. dollar compared with an average of 0.7636 dollar Monday.
Aurora Cannabis Inc. rose 1.67 percent to 9.72 Canadian dollars on 26.9 million shares and Canopy Growth Corp. jumped 6.87 percent to 56.14 Canadian dollars on 16.8 million shares.
Aphria Inc. advanced 4.64 percent to 16.70 Canadian dollars on 10 million shares while Hex Corp added 5.56 percent to 6.84 Canadian dollars on 6.6 million shares.
Bombardier Inc. fell 4.6 percent to 3.11 Canadian dollars on 10.1 million shares. Enditem
