CHENGDU, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- An international liquor and wine festival will be held in southwest China's Sichuan Province, organizers said Monday.
The festival is scheduled for Dec. 17 to 21 in the city of Yibin, according to a press conference.
More than 100 liquor companies from China, including leading brands Kweichow Moutai and Wuliangye, and over 60 wine companies from more than 20 countries including the United States, France, Italy and Spain will take part.
The festival is hosted by the China Alcoholic Drinks Association (CADA) and supported by the China Light Industry Council, attracting over 1,000 liquor and wine brands from around the world.
"China's alcoholic drinks market is open to the world. We hope to share China's liquor as well as its culture with the world through closer communication," said Song Shuyu, vice chairman and secretary-general of CADA.
