BEIJING, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Domestic comedy "A Cool Fish" dominated the Chinese mainland box office in the week ending Nov. 25, according China Film News.
The film has taken in 345 million yuan (49.6 million U.S. dollars) at the box office since hitting Chinese screens on Nov. 16. Second place went to American sci-fi film "Venom," which has earned 1.67 billion yuan since its release on Nov. 9.
Disney's blockbuster "Ralph Breaks the Internet" came in third, making around 135 million yuan since it premiered on Nov. 23.
"Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" took fourth place. It pocketed 361 million yuan since its release on the Chinese mainland on Nov. 16.
Rounding out the top five was Universal's "Johnny English Strikes Again," generating more than 79 million yuan since its release on Nov. 23.
