BUENOS AIRES, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping and his U.S. counterpart, Donald Trump, met here Saturday for the first time this year.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 13th summit of the Group of 20 (G20).
The two leaders agreed to meet bilaterally during the G20 summit in a telephone conversation held at the invitation of Trump at the beginning of last month.
Xi said during the conversation that both he and Trump have good visions for a healthy and stable development of the China-U.S. relations as well as expanding economic and trade cooperation, and they should make efforts to realize the wishes.
