PARIS, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- The FIFA Referees Committee has selected 27 referees and 48 assistant referees from 42 countries and regions for the FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019.
The referees selected for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup have demonstrated their skills at previous tournaments, including the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in 2016 and 2018, as well as the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in 2016 and 2018.
Preparation will continue for the selected match officials between now and the start of the tournament. There will be several further preparatory seminars, and the FIFA referee instructors will carry out observation work and provide ongoing guidance.
The FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019 will be played from June 7 to July 7 in Grenoble, Le Havre, Lyon, Montpellier, Nice, Paris, Reims, Rennes and Valenciennes, with the final to take place in Lyon.
