CHICAGO, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- Six people were killed at a wrong-way crash on the Interstate 75 (I-75) in Lexington of U.S. state of Kentucky on Sunday, according to a report released by the Lexington Police Department.
A white pickup truck, traveling in a wrong direction in the northbound lanes of I-75, hit an SUV straight-on. The SUV caught fire.
The driver of the pickup, a 41-year-old Kentucky resident, was killed in the crash. A Michigan family of five in the SUV were also killed.
The identities of the Michigan family have not yet been released.
