JERUSALEM, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- Exports of Israeli goods to China jumped by 19.8 percent in 2018, according to an annual report published on Thursday by Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics.
According to the data, the total amount of Israeli exports to China was about 9.02 billion U.S. dollars last year, compared with about 7.53 billion dollars in 2017.
At the same time, there was a drop of 1.4 percent in Israeli exports to the U.S. from 17.05 billion dollars in 2017 to 16.81 billion dollars in 2018.
In Israel's exports list, the U.S. and China were followed by the United Kingdom (4.42 billion dollars), the Netherlands (2.29 billion dollars), Belgium (2.19 billion dollars) and India (2.14 billion dollars).
The Israeli exports worldwide totaled 62.1 billion dollars in 2018, an increase of 1.6 percent compared with 2017.
The report further showed that in 2018, the total amount of Israeli imports from the U.S. rose by 25.7 percent in 2018 compared with last year.
Israeli imports from China rose by 12.9 percent from 8.44 billion dollars in 2017 to 9.53 billion dollars in 2018.
The total amount of Israeli imports worldwide was 80.6 billion dollars last year, up 16.5 percent compared with 2017.
