ATHENS, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Unstoppable Barcelona Lassa eased past Olympiacos Piraeus 76-55 on the road on Thursday night.
The Spanish team dominated the game from the beginning to the end, enjoying a 27-6 lead in the first 10 minutes.
The absence of Kostas Papanikolaou was really felt for Olympiacos all night long.
The greek team managed to score only 4 three-pointers throughout the game. Chris Singleton for Barcelona Lassa scored 18 points. Nikola Milutinov and Janis Strelnieks were top scorers for Olympiacos with 13 points.
Both teams share the 5th place at the Euroleague standings. On February 7, Olympiacos Piraeus will face Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel, while Barcelona Lassa will welcome Zalgiris Kaunas at home.
