ISLAMABAD, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- At least five people were killed and several others injured in a clash between two groups of drug peddlers in Kech district of Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province on Friday, local officials said.
The incident happened in Turbat city. Bodies of the killed were handed over to their relatives, deputy commissioner of Kech Bashir Ahmad said.
Some insurgents fled the scene after the attack, and a search operation was kicked off to track down them. Identities of the drug dealers were not revealed by the authorities.
