BEIJING, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Tacheng city in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region at 5:54 a.m. Saturday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 46.73 degrees north latitude and 83.34 degrees east longitude. The quake struck at a depth of 16 km, the CENC said in a statement.
