ISLAMABAD, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) -- Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Wednesday that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will bring a host of economic opportunities for the country's southwest Balochistan province, local reports said.
During his conversation with political representatives of the Balochistan Awami Party, the prime minister said that development of Gwadar port will open a new era of prosperity in Balochistan by creating vast opportunities for the people of the province, ARY News reported.
Talking about his party's development plans for Balochistan, Khan said that equipping youth with skill is their prime focus, and for that purpose technical colleges are being built in the province to equip the youth with modern technical skills.
He said that potentials of the provinces will be tapped under CPEC, which will lead to the uplift of not only the province, but also the whole country.
