BEIJING, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) -- A cold front will sweep across most regions in south China in the upcoming days, bringing falling temperatures, the national observatory forecast Thursday.
The cold front will cause temperatures to drop by 6 to 8 degrees Celsius in a vast part of south China from Thursday to Saturday, according to the National Meteorological Center (NMC).
Meanwhile, some areas in south China are expected to see temperature drops by more than 10 degrees Celsius.
The observatory warned chill is expected to be accompanied by small and moderate rainfalls.
Affected by the cold wave, strong winds are expected to be seen in eastern and southern sea areas, the NMC added.
