WUHAN, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- Five official hospitals for the 7th Military World Games were unveiled by Wuhan Municipal Health Commission here on Saturday.

These five official hospitals are Tongji Hospital, Wuhan Union Hospital, Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University and General Hospital of the Central Theater Command of the People's Liberation Army.

A total of 21 national-level experts and 3,000 professional staff are going to provide medical service on water, on land as well as in the air.

In addition, for the event having a well-established medical security system, two medical helicopters are to be prepared for the opening ceremony and orienteering competition. Six medical boats will be put into use for the open-water competition.

The 7th Military World Games, a multi-sports event organized every four years since 1995, will be held in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei Province from Oct. 18 to 27.
