PARIS, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) -- Paris Saint-Germain on Thursday announced that they have reached an agreement with former French international midfielder Lassana Diarra to bring an early end to his contract.
Diarra, 33, joined PSG last January. His contract is due to expire on June 30, 2019, but has been terminated beforehand.
Diarra played 10 league matches for PSG last season, but fell out of favor in Thomas Tuchel's squad, with only three league appearances this season.
"The club thanks Lassana for his professionalism throughout his time at Paris Saint-Germain and wishes him well for the next steps in his career," PSG said in a statement.
Diarra had played for Chelsea, Arsenal and Real Madrid in his career. He has been capped 34 times for France. Enditem
