PHNOM PENH, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia won the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U-22 Championship 2019 on Tuesday after defeating Thailand 2-1 in a thrilling final at Phnom Penh's Olympic Stadium.
After a goalless first half, Thailand took the lead in the 58th minute thanks to defender Saringkan Promsupa.
Indonesia equalized only a minute later from midfielder Sani Riski, and forward Osvaldo Haay headed in the winner in the 64th minute.
Earlier the day, Vietnam beat hosts Cambodia 1-0 for the third place when forward Le Xuan Tu scored the game-winning goal in the 88th minute.
Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Timor-Leste, competed the tournament.
