TIANJIN, March 5 (Xinhua) -- A new air route will be launched between north China's Tianjin Municipality and Japan's Nagoya on March 31.
The route will be operated by Tianjin Airlines, using an airbus A320 aircraft. One round-trip flight is scheduled every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
The new route will bring the total number of flights to Japan operated by Tianjin Airlines to 48 every week, linking Tianjin with the cities of Nagoya, Tokyo, Osaka and Sapporo.
Over 8 million Chinese tourists visited Japan in 2018, up 13.9 percent year on year.
