WINDHOEK, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Namibia's kickboxers displayed a great array of skills at the recently-concluded Africa Continental Pro Jiu-Jitsu Championships in Stellenbosch, South Africa, according to Anita de Klerk, president of the Namibia Kickboxing Federation (NKF).
"The championship was professional and well organized. The athletes' standards were very high, and the international contingent consisted of representation from nine countries," de Klerk said.
Delano Muller and Giano Alcock both scooped gold medals, while Lesley Hoaeb and Ankia Rentzke both narrowly missed out in fourth spot.
Rentzke, who was the first Namibian woman to participate internationally in Jiu-Jitsu, performed excellently, and good experience was acquired, de Klerk said. Enditem
