WASHINGTON, March 9 (Xinhua) -- The Los Angeles Lakers announced on Saturday that forward Brandon Ingram will miss the remainder of the season due to an arm blood clot.
Ingram had missed the past two games due to a sore right shoulder for the struggling Lakers, who have dropped four straight and eight of their past 10 games.
The club said that further tests revealed a Deep Venous Thrombosis -- a blood clot that forms in a vein in his right arm.
In 52 games this season, Ingram averaged 18.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3 assists per game for his team.
