BUENOS AIRES, March 9 (Xinhua) -- Superliga Argentina leaders Racing Club gave new hope to their title rivals on Saturday following a 1-1 away draw with lowly Colon.
Wilson Morelo's first-half goal looked like handing the hosts their fifth win of the season before Dario Cvitanich equalized two minutes from time.
The result left Racing on 52 points, four points ahead of second-placed Defensa y Justicia with just four match days remaining in the season. The latter could reduce the gap to a point against Banfield at home on Monday.
Colon are 21st in the 26-team standings, just four points ahead of last-placed San Lorenzo.
In other Argentine top flight matches on Saturday, Talleres de Cordoba won 2-1 at Newell's Old Boys and Rosario Central held Godoy Cruz to a goalless draw in Mendoza.
