SUVA, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed on Saturday after a fire broke out in a house in Nadi, the third largest city of Fiji, according to Fiji Broadcasting Corporation (FBC).
The Nadi Fire Station responded to a fire call early Saturday morning. When firefighters rushed to the three-bedroom house, it was fully engulfed in flames and firefighters had to force their way into the house through the front and back doors.
The victims are believed to be a 70-year-old woman who is the owner of house, her daughter in her 50s and her de facto husband.
Police are working together with Fiji's National Fire Authority to investigate the cause of the fire.
