ISLAMABAD, March 16 (Xinhua) -- The Pakistan Army said Saturday that it has "shot down" an Indian spying quadcopter along the Line of Control (LoC) in the disputed Kashmir region.
The incident happened amid tensions between Pakistan and India following a suicide attack in the Indian-controlled Kashmir last month.
The Pakistani Army's spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor said on twitter that the Indian spy quadcopter was shot down in Rakhchikri sector along the LoC, which divides the two countries in the Kashmir region.
He said the quadcopter had come 150 meters inside Pakistan.
Last month the Pakistan air force said it had shot down two Indian aircraft after Indian army claimed they struck a camp of militant group in northwest Pakistan.
