PRAGUE, March 19 (Xinhua) -- Tomas Vaclik,Goalkeeper of Spanish Sevilla, was elected the 54th Czech Footballer of the Year on Monday night, winning 694 points, well ahead of defender Pavel Kaderabek (430 points) and midfielder Tomas Soucek(196 points).

Viktoria Plzen's coach Pavel Vrba has become the best coach of the year again, winning for the eighth time in the last nine years.
