ISTANBUL, March 21 (Xinhua) -- Some people were wounded on Thursday when a public bus crashed into pedestrians in Istanbul, local media reported.
The incident happened in the Beyazit neighborhood of Fatih district in central Istanbul when the driver lost control of the bus for an unknown reason, the NTV broadcaster reported.
The bus hit five vehicles before crashing into the crowd waiting at a bus stop, the report said, noting ambulances and police were sent to the scene.
The number of the injured was not immediately clear.
