CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand, April 3 (Xinhua) -- New Zealand police said on Wednesday that they believe a Christchurch man who died of suspected suicide last week was a "significant threat to the community," according to local media Newsbub.
New Zealand Police confirmed that Troy Dubovskiy supported the Christchurch terrorist attack and possessed violent extremist content at his house, as well as firearms and ammunition.
Troy Dubovskiy allegedly committed suicide after three hours negotiation with the police when his properties were raided for firearms.
It is understood that Dubovskiy supported the actions of the man charged with murder in relation to the Christchurch terror attacks. However no connection has been established between the two. Investigation is still ongoing.
